We want your stay at Bryn Derwen to
be a comfortable and happy one.
We provide bed linen for each bed to be occupied
during your stay and a bath and hand towel for each person.
Kitchen linen is provided along with a starter pack of tea
and coffee etc. We include oil and electricity (though at
some time of year such as Christmas & New Year we make
a surcharge of £20) in the booking tariff.
Welcome pack
Our welcome pack gives a brief introduction to staying at
the cottage, other files contain more detailed information
as to how all the 'gadgets' work! There is also a file with
leaflets and brochures about what is available locally for
your holiday leisure activities.
Caring for the environment
We are very aware of environmental issues and have tried to
incorporate some energy saving measures into the cottage.
The cottage is heated by an oil fired condensing boiler. This
is the most efficient oil boiler available. However, the heating
is on a timer and individual radiators can be individually
turned on or off. The fridge, freezer, dishwasher and washing
machine were all chosen because of their low-energy ratings.
Environmentally friendly washing & cleaning products are
provided for guests during their stay. Recycling is encouraged,
so please bag up tins, glass & paper separately and we
will see to it that they get recycled.
