Here are some of the
comments from the Bryn Derwen visitor’s book 2007
January
“What a lovely start to the New Year. Bryn Derwen is wonderfully
comfortable, warm & cosy, with all the attention to details
that make it so homely. It’s a great base to go walking from
- as long as you have your waterproofs! We are sad to leave.”

“Had a lovely week in your cottage & would love to come
back as there’s so much to do. This is a great location &
there’s fabulous views from the window - and what more could
a boy want than a steam train passing the window every now &
then.” Nicola, Keith, Sam, Louis & Lily

“This cottage couldn’t be more perfect! Despite some
rain we’ve had a fantastic time, the mountains are beautiful
& interesting whatever the weather. This cottage was a great
place to relax & recuperate. Thanks.” Jess & Dan
July
“It has been a pleasure to stay here. This lovely cottage
provides the perfect base for exploring Snowdonia which has looked
at its beautiful best this week in sun & showers. The waterfalls
have been particularly impressive after the heavy rain earlier this
month.” Di & Terry

“We don’t want to leave. Can’t bear the thought
of waking up without the mountains & their ever changing moods.
The cottage is exquisite & wonderfully comfortable…we
love the summer house and all the nooks & crannies… and
the weather couldn’t have been kinder to us. Perfect for those
beaches. A week just isn’t long enough. We have to come back!
Thank you for all the welcoming touches.” Ella, Mark,
Charley, Daisy & Tom
“We have had a lovely week here. We love the
cottage - all the little touches make such a difference. We have
hardly had time to explore locally & relax in the summer house
as the weather has been generally good & we love exploring -
so we hope to come back! The week has flown by so quickly.”

“What a delightful cottage in a beautiful location - perfect
for both relaxation & exhilaration! Thoroughly enjoyed a trip
to Conwy with fish & chips on the harbour & walking the
city walls. Bangor’s highlight was definitely the hot chocolate
at ‘Kyffin’ (plus the opportunity to buy tasty treats
to take home!) Recommend browsing the ‘Food Wales’ book
in the kitchen for sourcing local produce. Walks up Snowdon &
the challenging Nantlle Ridge were very inspiring. A wonderful holiday.”

“We really enjoyed staying in your beautiful
cottage. Exploring the area was fun and we have had a great time.
Thank you for your attention to detail & warm welcome. It is
one of the best cottages we have stayed in.” Ann, Bruce

“Thank you for thinking of everything. This is a perfect rental
cottage. The interior is beautiful, luxurious & so tasteful.
The location is dramatic, peaceful & inspiring. You have obviously
put a lot of thought & love into providing a restful & rewarding
holiday. We can’t wait to come back!! Ps Lou loved the trains!”

“We have had a wonderful week with amazing weather!
The cottage was fantastic- so comfortable & tasteful - we don’t

reliving my childhood holidays with my own children! Many thanks.”

“Thank you for a very pleasant stay in the beautiful &
luxurious cottage! We have enjoyed the evenings in front of the
fireplace, visited small, amazing villages especially Aberdaron
& Beddgelert and met a very friendly attitude amongst people.
We would love to have stayed longer. Unfortunately we have to return
to Denmark!” Lena, Henrik & Katrina
