Bryn Derwen, is a real treasure, a quiet, peaceful retreat amidst the verdant tranquility of the Snowdonia National Park.

It is a mid-terrace, stone cottage in a quiet village overlooking mountains and river.
Great care has been taken to retain the original, characteristic features of a traditional stone cottage, but redesigned to provide a modern, comfortable interior. The small exterior belies the light, airy and spacious rooms you'll find inside!

South facing, the cottage is decorated with spare elegance in antique furniture, Rosewood four poster beds and beautiful textiles. Attention to detail has made it a gorgeous place to rest and enjoy its comforts, or a fabulous base to explore the immediate countryside.

There are stunning, uninterrupted views of the mountains and river, as well as the steam trains of the Welsh Highland railway across the valley. Be prepared to do a lot of walking! The hills wrap around the village enticing you to put on your walking boots and explore their landscape!

The cottage has lovely, terraced gardens with terraces and gazebo, all with stunning views. Bryn Derwen is also fortunate to be one of a group of properties which shares ownership of a field across the road from the terrace. The field has access to the river for swimming, and a trail winds its way around between recently planted trees as well as established native species.
